NOBODY IS LUCKY RIGHT TO THE END
We're comfortably sitting on a rock watching the beautiful sunset.
-It has been a nice climbing, hasn't it, I told Pepe.
Suddenly we realized the dark coming...
We both knew what it meant.
We were celebrating our adventure so quickly.
-We are in the summit of mountain with a one hundred feet upright gradient under our feet...and we haven't any lights,he told me.
-I know, my friend. Our eyes met, and we saw our stupid faces.
It took us over six hours (what in the right circunstances takes only an hour) of a very dangerous and dramatic descent, feeling the belays and rappels with our hands, clinging to roots and praying on each step. Fortunately, everything went alright,of course, that's why I'm here.
When we finally got to the ground,we embraced without words, with the tears in our eyes, knowing that we had been born again.

THE DILEMMA
You are driving your car in a terrible night. You drive past a bus stop and see three people waiting for the bus.
An elderly lady who is about to die.
An old friend who saved your life.
The woman or man of your dreams.
You can only take one person.
Think about it…….
The lady is about to die, but it would be the perfect opportunity to return the favour to your friend.
And what about the woman of your dreams? You´d probably never see her again...
It´s easy.
You give your car keys to your friend and he takes the lady to the hospital and then you wait for the bus with the woman of your dreams.
Be creative!

CHRISTMAS SHOPPING
This story happened a long time ago. I used to go to the market to do the Christmas shopping with my mother. I loved going with her. One day when we were going to the market, a small child came near us and asked my mother for something to eat, she told him that she did not have anything because we were going to buy and ordered him to follow us.
When we arrived at the market, my mother asked him ¨What are you going to take, darling?, ask for whatever you want¨.
and the child told her ¨choose whatever you want because it will be enough for me¨. My mother chose a big turkey, eggs, fruit, vegetables and cakes, when she returned to give him the shopping, nobody was behind us, only a note on the floor which said:¨ Thank you very much, madam. I am very happy to see that there are people who help poor people at Christmas,
God bless you!
My mother and I began to cry and we gave the shopping to an old woman who was at the corner asking for some food and that day I really understood the meaning of the real spirit of CHRISTMAS.

A MINISAGA: "TOO MANY BEARS"
We had painted and stuck a beautiful band with bears in the baby's room.Tthe baby was playing happily there. Suddenly, he was in silence. I went upstairs to see him. He had torn up the band.I asked him:"why did you do that?" He said:"Too many bears" (50 words). José
ANOTHER STORY ABOUT THE SAME BABY :" WHERE ARE MY KEYS?"
Eight years ago my son was two years old and he was playing with my car keys. All of a sudden, the keys disappeared; my wife asked him where he had left them, and he answered "here", pointing to the sofa. Both my wife and me looked for the keys there - on, under and even into the sofa, but the keys didn't appear. We continued asking him where he had left the keys, and the answer was always the same: "here" .
I was terribly worried about the loss. I searched through the rest of the house: in the rooms, in the cellar, even in the rubbish bin. I looked everywhere, and still the keys didn't appear.
After three hours of searching with no results, we desperately asked him again. The answer was..... the same.
We decided to search for them into the sofa for the umpteenth time, and now the keys were there. They were hidden between two cushions. Thanks to heaven, eventually they appeared.
To sum up, the child was right, we just couldn't understand him.

STORY TO KEEP YOU AWAKE
It was three o`clock in the morning when suddenly the phone rang. I was sleeping in a lovely girl`s home named Alice who I had met last night. Unfortunately, the call was from my girlfriend Lucy who was making a master in "American culture" in New York. In that moment she was in Manhatan and the picture was as nice asshe didn`t doubt in calling me inmediately.
Unconciously, Alice woke up startled and she asked worried me about the call, so I answered: Don`t worry, he is my friend Charles who is having a party.
One second later my girlfriend shouted: "Whose female voice is that?". "Oh, no darling, She is my mum, she is at home because she has a strong stomachache".
Finally, Lucy apologized (me) and we told each other goodbye.
The problem happened when my mum was asked about her stomachache (by Lucy), but that is other story...
Sergio Almagro I2 DREAM GIRL
Several nights during that hot summer, I had the same dream: a beautiful dark-long-haired girl smiled and called me. I ran towards her, but I never arrived. In the end, I woke up startled and bathed in sweat.
The summer passed and the classes returned. A rainy evening of November, I was having a beer in a pub with my friends. Suddenly, I saw her leaving the bar. I rushed to the street, but she wasn’t there. The dream was happened again.
The autumn finished and I hardly noticed the winter. I forgot about her, she didn’t pursue me any more. A light afternoon of spring, I went to study to the library. “Have you got a pencil?”, she told me. I almost had a heart attack: she was the girl of my dreams.

ONLY TWO NAMES My parents have a couple of friends called Ramón and Marisa. They had two children who they called Ramón and Marisa. The brother and sister grew up and Ramón got married to a girl called Marisa; one year later his sister Marisa got married to a boy called Ramón. Both couples had two children, one boy and one girl each one, who they called Ramón and Marisa too. So, there are only two names in this family. All the people who know them are really expectant to know if this strange “tradition” will go on !

Was it a premonition?
In 2003 I was waiting to board in a departure lounge at Munich’s airport. The same route of each week bore me so I began to observe the other passengers trying to find some known person. Perhaps any other employee of my company or some frequent flier whose face I could remember. Actually, I couldn’t recognize anybody but I remembered a face. A man who had left the company years ago and I hadn't seen again.
The boarding started. When I was looking for my seat I was pleasantly surprised . This man showed up just sitting in front of me!
Unless my eyes had deceived me that was a premonition, wasn’t it?

Snow Boredom
Time passes so slowly since they brought me here. I look outside the window and it's always the same boring landscape - the thicket of snowy pines, the snow-capped mountains in the distance, and snow, a lot of snow all around the house. I'm fed up with living here and being snowbound. But what's that? Oh no, here they come again. The earthquake once more, and the snowflakes falling all over the house, day in, day out.
Life is an eternal, cold winter when you're living inside a snow globe...

A disgusting story
I´m a teacher, and I love my job, but that day I raised my profession. Imagine the situation. A class with 12 students from 2 to 3 years. Pablito and Marcos, both ask me:
- Teacher, can I go to the toilet, please?
- Yes, of course, but don´t delay.
They were in the bathroom for 5 minutes. When they return, Lucía ask me:
- Teacher, can I go to the toilet, please?
She went to the bathroom and returned quickly, and say me:
- Teacher, quickly, they have painting the walls!!
- “Painting? Today we haven´t used the “tempera”…”- I thought
When I went to the bathroom, and see their BROWN work I said:
- Oh my God! PAPLITO AND MARCOS… WHO HAS (MADE UP) SHIT?
None of them answered.
- OK, SHOW ME YOUR HANDS!
Pablito´s hands were clean…. Marcos´s hands were dirty and smelly…
- Oh, my God, Marcos…. You´ve taken shit on it?
Imagine my face when I started changing clothes and he haven´t poop on his underwear.
-Pablito, come here, please… OH, MY GOD, OH MY GOD!!
I couldn´t believe it...
Marcos had used Pablito´s shit to do his work.

THE WRONG ANGER
It was three o’clock in the morning when the phone rang. I picked it up slowly and quite without voice I said: - Mister Schmiiiiiit speaaaaking!
Nobody answered for 5 seconds.
Suddenly, a strange voice stammered: - Is, is, is Mister Schmit speaking?
- Yes it is, it’s me, Mister Schmit:
The voice turned deeper and said: - Are, are you the owner of a black Mercedes?
My heart started thumping with these words! I ran to the window and raised the roller blind of my bedroom. When I looked down onto the street I found out my car had disappeared.
When I took the phone, I was very angry and I shouted: - You’re a damn thief! You’ve stolen my car! What do you want now?
The silence kept on for a while, again. And, now, the stammered voice sounded smooth: - I’m sorry, Jack.
- Do you know me, you fool?
- Of course, Jack, it’s John, your neighbour at the end of the street. Your car is the most famous in the neighbourhood. Could you come to my home just now, pleaaase?
I dropped the phone and ran downstairs to the door full of anger. Before going out I picked up my son’s baseball bat and I headed for my neighbour’s house.
When I arrived I was astonished.
My car had crashed into my neighbour’s door and he was sitting down on the road like a frog. I realized he was absolutely drunk. When John took my hand he said:
- It’s useless, you’ll need a tow truck at least. And he felt asleep against the wall.
I understood that I had forgotten to pull the handbrake in my car and it ran down the street itself till my neighbour’s door. I was so ashamed that I could only drop the bat into the boot and helped John to get home.

MEETING AGAIN
Some weeks ago I went to the park with my eight-year-old daughter. There she started to play with another girl, about four years old. This girl was with his father. They were playing with the sand, getting on the swing and going down the slide. A few minutes later, my daughter was thirsty and I didn’t have any kind of drink, so I went to buy a bottle of water to a shop that is opposite the park. When I went to buy it, the girls went on playing together. I came back and we stayed in the park for about 15 minutes more. Then we said goodbye and the girl´s father said to me: Bye-bye, Mª Angeles. When I heard this, I was a bit surprised because I had only talked to him for about five minutes and I was sure I hadn’t told him my name. So, on our way home I asked my daughter what she had told this man and she answered that only her name, not mine. Then I started to think and eventually I realized who he was. He used to live in the same neighbourhood when we were children. He had changed so much that I couldn´t recognize him at first. Days later we met again and talked about our childhood and family.
